Oasis of Hope works beautifully as a church camp: fourteen private acres in the Upper Orara Valley with beds for 21, creekside camping to grow the numbers, and a covered pavilion for the whole group to gather. With exclusive use of the estate, your camp has the run of the place — creek, lawns, firepit and all.

Beds and camping together

The homestead and Garden Wing sleep 21 in beds, and creekside and valley camping on the estate extend that for bigger camps. Families and leaders can take the beds while others camp under the stars — all on the same property.

Frequently asked questions

How many people can the camp sleep?
Twenty-one guests can sleep in beds across the homestead and Garden Wing, and creekside and valley camping on the estate can host larger camps. Tell us your expected numbers and we'll confirm the best setup.
What activities are there for a church camp?
The creek is the centrepiece — swimming holes and an upstream adventure to a waterfall pool. There's also stargazing under dark skies, bird-spotting, a firepit for evenings, and fourteen acres of open space for games and free time.
What facilities and amenities are provided?
Camp areas include hot showers, the homestead has a full kitchen for self-catering, and the covered Pavilion provides an all-weather space for meals and sessions. Catering can also be arranged through partner services.
Can we have the whole property to ourselves?
Yes — the estate is booked on an exclusive-use basis, so your church camp has the grounds, accommodation, camping areas, and gathering spaces all to itself.
Is the creek adventure suitable for everyone?
The upstream creek adventure is an active route over uneven, natural terrain and involves wading, so closed-in shoes are essential and it suits able participants. The swimming holes and lower creek are far more accessible for all ages.
