A Christian retreat centre set apart in the valley

Christian Retreat Centre · NSW

Oasis of Hope is a private 14-acre retreat in the Upper Orara Valley, an easy drive inland from Coffs Harbour. Your group has the whole estate to itself — no shared spaces, no other bookings — so a weekend away can be exactly that: set apart, unhurried, and centred on the people and the purpose you came for.

Room to gather as one

Room to gather as one

The all-weather Pavilion seats 80 to 100 under cover, with pull-down weather screens and an adjoining stage — a natural home for worship, teaching, and long-table meals together. As evening falls, the firepit becomes the place where the real conversations happen.

A space to teach and reflect

A dedicated meeting room seats up to 70 with a 75-inch screen and wireless presentation — ready for sessions, studies, and breakouts. Beyond it, fourteen acres of lawns, gardens, and a creek give people somewhere quiet to walk, pray, and think.

Between sessions, the wellness centre offers a 38°C outdoor spa and a traditional Finnish sauna beneath open sky. Comfortable beds for 21 across the homestead and Garden Wing mean your group stays together, on-site, the whole weekend.

Frequently asked questions

Can our group have exclusive use of the property?
Yes. Oasis of Hope is booked on an exclusive-use basis, so your church or group has the entire 14-acre estate, accommodation, and gathering spaces to yourselves for the duration of your stay.
How many people can you accommodate?
There are 21 beds across the 6-bedroom homestead (sleeping 17) and the attached Garden Wing (sleeping 4). For larger groups, creekside and valley camping on the estate can extend capacity — get in touch and we'll talk through your numbers.
Is there a space for worship, teaching or sessions?
Yes. The covered Pavilion seats 80–100 for plenary worship and meals, and a separate meeting room seats up to 70 with a 75-inch screen and wireless presentation for teaching and breakout sessions.
Can we run our own program and bring our own speakers?
Absolutely. The venue is yours for the weekend — you set the schedule, the sessions, and the speakers. We simply provide the spaces, the accommodation, and the quiet of the valley.
Where is the retreat centre located?
Oasis of Hope is in the Upper Orara Valley in the Coffs Harbour hinterland on the NSW Mid North Coast — rural and removed, yet within a comfortable drive of Coffs Harbour.
